The Post Graduate Diploma in Vertical Transportation (PGDVT) is a specialized, industry-oriented program designed to develop technically competent professionals for the elevator, escalator and moving walkway industry.
The program provides comprehensive theoretical and practical knowledge in electrical and electronic systems, mechanical components, elevator structures, safety practices, metrology, installation, site surveying, testing, commissioning and maintenance. Participants gain practical exposure to technical drawings, measuring instruments, elevator components, troubleshooting, installation procedures and industry safety requirements across two semesters with laboratory sessions, project work and internship.
Accreditation & affiliation: offered under BSVT's affiliation with Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) and Gokul Global University (GGU), with Skill India certification.
Candidates from any degree stream; preferably with an engineering or technical background.

Students undergo practical training at BSVT's working Vertical Transportation training facilities, followed by industry exposure and placement opportunities with partner companies across India.
Candidates who complete the required training and gain relevant industry experience may subsequently be considered for international opportunities, subject to employer requirements, experience criteria and applicable selection processes. Where overseas deployment applies, travel, visa and accommodation support depend on the employer's and project's terms.
